boston part 3: plaid baby shirts, almost-kisses and a toothbrush.

sunday was pretty chill.
i took pictures of baby D's chocolate face at church
plus a silly sideways one with my fav little brother.
also here's a cute picture of medium D and baby D
then an almost-kiss from my fav nephew.
did i mention that i love his plaid shirt?
most of what i remember about sunday was getting ready to eat food and then eating it. that literally took most of the day.
baby D also put crayons in his toes and ate a banana.
afterwards it was pretty much time for bed.
i wonder if some kids just know they are adorable
and they make faces like these on purpose.
naturally, baby D had to help his mom get ready for the big race.
even though she posted it first, i take photo credit ( :
sometimes when i think i'll never get married or have kids,
i think about how cool baby D is and how i would like one like him.
i suppose i will need to find a blonde husband.

boston part 2: pancakes, icees and horses.

day two started out in a very delicious way.
blueberry pancakes at this delicious food place
with ruth, drew, too-ey and dani.
and of course, baby d pedroia.
love him!
after pancakes was baseball (naturally).
after a nap, mikey got here
and we went to find horses in downtown boston!
we drank icees, found a real life quidditch match, walked along a historical trail and saw an a capella group singing in the park.
(not pictured: we also saw a not-very-good street performer
and walked through a few cemeteries)
the parents and DK arrived in boston later that evening
and we had a cookout and took this picture with mikey.
obviously, i felt the need to do a "thumbs up" just like boston billy.

last month i went to boston.

last month, i went to boston to visit my awesome sister
as she ran the marathon for her first time ever.
(my other awesome sister plans to run one next month.
i know. compared to them, i'm super-lame)
well...this is our story.
day one started off a little late (because that was my travel day) but we did get to enjoy the sights of downtown boston when we went to this super-cool running event. we met famous people and ate tiny food and i (geeked out and) enjoyed the lighting design. i thought i would be underdressed (in my jeans and running shoes) but apparently that was right on par with many of the people there. runners are cool and i'm glad to be one of them.
